- You gain access to over 1000 doctors ranging from PGY3s to Consultants all looking for work, perhaps in your hospital.
- Austwide Locums is available 24 hours per day 7 days per week for listings, applications for shifts and other urgent matters. Not an answering machine but real live people.
- No doctor is put forward without first having their approval.
- We will not promote a shift at a rate that that has not been agreed with the health facility prior to that promotion. We have NO interest in artificially inflating doctors rates.
- If one of our doctors feels compelled to cancel a confirmed shift, and this does sometime happen, we feel obligated to find a suitable replacement. If this can only be done at a higher rate we will cover the difference.
- All paper work associated with a confirmed shift will be completed on the day of confirmation. Week-ends and public holidays paperwork completed on the first normal work day following.
Austwide Locums is included on the NSW Department of Health Register of Compliant Locum Agencies. This means we are:
- Fully accredited to ISO9001-2008 standards with the commitment to best practice and quality service that requires.
- We are a member of AMRANZ and RCSA and subscribe to their standards of professional behaviour.
- We have signed agreements with ALL NSW Dept of Health Area Health Services and Justice Health. We can and do service all of them.
